futureVision is a series of facilitated interactive workshops, designed to capture the collective contribution of all professionals and stakeholders who are involved in the transformation of secondary education in an identified school or across a local authority.

The futureVision workshops have been created to  support senior local authority officers and Head Teachers engaged at any stage of a BSF or school re-building programme. futurevision ensures that everyone’s voice is heard.

Participation in the futureVision workshop/s strengthens the relationships of key people who will need to work closely to realise school transformation.

introduces key elements of the school transformation process
enables a range of perspectives to be constructively shared
creates time and space to confidently express views
aims to draw out a collective vision for the school of the future
is delivered in a relaxed and informal atmosphere

Workshop participants can be drawn from a wide range of disciplines including:

At school level: Headteachers, Governors, Senior Managers, Teachers, Extended Schools co-ordinators, Education Welfare Officers, Social Workers, Support Staff, Parents/Carers, Community members and pupils;

At local authority level: BSF directors and managers, School Improvement, Planning, Building Design and Management, Policy Development Officers, Extended Schools, Children’s Services, Inclusion, Special Educational Needs, Social Care and Health.

The futureVision programme is flexible. It can be delivered as a ‘stand alone’ workshop or as part of a 3 STEP package that involves and includes all stakeholders.

 

futureVision 1 - a one day visioning workshop for multi-disciplinary staff from the school and local authority

 

futureVision 2 – for schools – a three day awareness raising programme for staff, students and their families and members of the local community

futureVision 3 – a one day strategic planning workshop for multi-disciplinary staff from the school and local authority to identify the way ahead
