“RAISING MONEY IS A CHALLENGE. SOMETIMES IT IS FRUSTRATING, SOMETIMES IT IS REALLY ENJOYABLE; SOMETIMES YOU WIN, SOMETIMES YOU DON’T. LIKE ANY GAME, FUNDRAISING HAS ITS OWN RULES”

The ‘Fundraising Masterclass’ and 'next steps' are one-day intensive practical bid writing workshops that provides delegates with the relevant knowledge and skills that will help them unlock the potential of their school. Learning the ‘rules of successful fundraising’ is a key outcome of the day. Attending the workshop/s will help “break down the fear and misconceptions of bid writing”

Both 'Fundraising Masterclass' and 'next steps' have been designed to meet the needs of anyone within the education sector who has the responsibility to generate additional funds. Years of fundraising experience and understanding are now distilled into an informative and entertaining one-day workshop.

The workshop’s target groups are: Headteachers from across the phases, Governors, Bursars and Finance Managers, Extended School or Community Focused School Coordinators, Playing for Success Centre Managers and anyone who is part of a fund raising team.

A popular element of the workshop has been the opportunity for delegates to meet and share with each other, successful fundraising practice and to actually cost and write bids during the day.
“ the delivery was excellent and definitely raised my confidence”
SECONDARY BURSAR

The emphasis of 'next steps' is to equip delegates with all the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully seek out web based sources of funds and submit ‘quick turn around’ online bids to access capital and revenue funding for OSHL, and Extended Schools activities.

A series of facilitated interactive workshops, designed to capture the collective contribution of all professionals and stakeholders who are involved in the transformation of secondary education in an identified school or across a local authority.
